Equi Salmon Oil<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Smakelijke Schotse zalmolie, rijk aan omega 3- (EPA & DHA), 6- en 9-vetzuren. Dit voedermiddel voor paarden en pony\u2019s ondersteunt de algemene gezondheid, bevordert het natuurlijk afweersysteem en ondersteunt de gewrichtsfunctie. Daarnaast heeft Equi Salmon Oil een gunstige invloed op het hart, bevordert het de eetlust en geeft het meer energie.<\/span><\/p>\n

Zalmolie vs. lijnzaadolie<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Zowel zalmolie als lijnzaadolie zijn rijk in essenti\u00eble vetzuren. Dit zijn vetzuren die het lichaam niet zelf aan kan maken, terwijl het lichaam ze wel nodig heeft om normaal te kunnen functioneren. Het grote verschil tussen zalmolie en lijnzaadolie zit in de typen omega 3-vetzuren. Lijnzaadolie is met name rijk aan 1 type omega 3-vetzuur (ALA), terwijl zalmolie naast ALA ook rijk is aan EPA en DHA.<\/span><\/p>\n

Deze ALA is het meest aanwezig in plantaardige olie, terwijl EPA en DHA vooral in dierlijke olie te vinden zijn. ALA-vetzuren moeten door het paard eerst omgezet worden naar EPA en DHA om gebruikt te kunnen worden in het lichaam. Dit proces is echter vrij ineffici\u00ebnt, waardoor er maar een omzetting van 5-10% plaatsvindt. De dierlijke EPA en DHA omega 3-vetzuren kunnen door het paard wel direct gebruikt worden, waardoor de omega 3-vetzuren die via zalmolie worden gegeven, veel effici\u00ebnter benut worden.<\/span><\/p>\n
