Advantix spot-on solution for dogs up to 4 kg
\n<\/strong>Spot-on solution for dogs up to 4 kg. Eliminates fleas, ticks and biting lice. Repels ticks, mosquitoes, sand flies and stable flies. Reduces the risk of transmission of leishmaniosis and ehrlichiosis in dogs.<\/p>\n

Target species
\n<\/strong>Hond (tot 4 kg).<\/p>\n

Active ingredient
\n<\/strong>Elke pipet van 0,4 ml bevat: 40 mg imidacloprid, 200 mg permethrine.<\/p>\n

Indications
\n<\/strong>For the treatment and prevention of flea infestation (Ctenocephalides canis, Ctenocephalides felis<\/em>).<\/p>\n

Op de hond aanwezige vlooien worden gedood binnen \u00e9\u00e9n dag na de behandeling. Een \u00e9\u00e9nmalige behandeling voorkomt verdere vlooieninfestatie gedurende vier weken. Het diergeneesmiddel kan gebruikt worden als onderdeel van een behandelingsstrategie tegen vlooienallergiedermatitis (VAD).<\/p>\n

Voor de behandeling van bijtende luizen (Trichodectes canis<\/em>).<\/p>\n

Het diergeneesmiddel heeft een persisterende acaricide en afwerende doeltreffendheid tegen infestatiesdoor teken (Rhipicephalus sanguineus<\/em> and Ixodes ricinus<\/em> gedurende vier weken en Dermacentor reticulatus<\/em> gedurende drie weken).<\/p>\n

Door de vectorteek Rhipicephalus sanguineus<\/em> af te stoten en te doden, verlaagt het diergeneesmiddel de kans op besmetting met de ziekteverwekker Ehrlichia canis<\/em>. Dit verlaagt het risico op ehrlichiosis bij honden. In studies werd aangetoond dat het risico verlagend effect begint vanaf 3 dagen na toediening van het diergeneesmiddel. Het effect houdt vier weken aan.<\/p>\n

Wat te doen voor de behandeling<\/strong><\/p>\n

Daarom wordt aanbevolen om teken, die al op de hond zitten op het ogenblik van de behandeling, te verwijderen om hen zo te beletten zich vast te hechten en een bloedmaaltijd te nemen.<\/p>\n

Contraindications
\n<\/strong>Niet gebruiken bij pups van minder dan 7 weken of 1,5 kg lichaamsgewicht.Weeg de hond voor toediening (zie doseringsschema).
\nNiet gebruiken bij overgevoeligheid voor de werkzame bestanddelen of \u00e9\u00e9n van de hulpstoffen.
\nDo not use in cats.<\/p>\n

Dosage and administration
\n<\/strong>De aanbevolen minimale dosis is:
\n10 mg\/kg lichaamsgewicht (LG) imidacloprid en 50 mg\/kg lichaamsgewicht (LG) permethrine.<\/p>\n

Voor honden tot 10 kg lichaamsgewicht:<\/h4>\n

Remove one pipette from the package. Hold the pipette upright, twist and remove the cap. Replace the cap upside down, twist to break the seal and remove the cap again.
While the dog is standing still, push the hair between the shoulder blades apart until the skin becomes visible. Place the open end of the pipette on the skin and squeeze the pipette firmly several times to empty the contents directly onto the skin.<\/p>\n
