Can be dispensed over food or directly into the mouth.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Dolthene is a palatable broad-spectrum anthelmintic to control gastrointestinal worm and tapeworm infections in puppies and adult dogs. The suspension is active against both adult and larval stages and also kills worm eggs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><strong>Target species<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Dog<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><strong>Active substance<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Oxfendazole 22.65 mg per ml<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><strong>Indication<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Controls gastrointestinal worm and tapeworm infections in puppies and adult dogs.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Gastrointestinal worms: <em>Toxocara canis<\/em>, <em>Toxoscaris leonina<\/em>, <em>Ancylostoma caninum<\/em>, <em>Uncinaria stenocephala<\/em> and <em>Trichuris vulpis<\/em>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Tapeworms: <em>Taenia pisiformis<\/em> and <em>Dipylidium caninum<\/em>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><strong>Contraindications<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">None.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><strong>Dosage and method of administration<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Route of administration: orally, directly into the mouth or over feed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Dosage: 10 mg oxfendazole (=0.44 ml) per kg body weight per day, for 3\u00a0<u>consecutive<\/u>\u00a0days.
